Newcastle Won, Remy Became a hero

Loic Remy was the hero for Newcastle City. He scored twice in the first round on last Saturday. Newcastle city finally beaten Cardiff 2-1 in the Premier League.

At 30, Remy opened the scoring by his solo run effort. He ran to break the left then cut when passed by defenders. Then, he putted a shot from the outside of the post. He also scored a second goal when the ball rebounded seven minutes later.

Cardiff found a hope when Peter Odemwingie pulled a goeal back from a distance of 12 meters in 58. Cardiff had played with full confidence because Jordon Mutch created several chances. Although had tried hard to be equal, they actually almost penetrated by the shot of Moussa Sissoko from a counter attack. Nevertheless, that shot could be prevented by David Marshall.
